Bay View - The Trio

Comfortable, convenient with good access to everything Loren has to offer. Positive: Beds were very comfortable. Nice little kitchen well equipped with coffee machine some pods supplied, microwave and fridge. Air conditioner was also in good working order. There was also good space in all areas including bathroom. It is also in a good location in terms of proximity to beach, pub and Main Street. Also good parking and easy access to room. Negative: A few minor maintenance issues, fire alarm needed a new battery and was constantly beeping, no plug for kitchen sink, lose plug on television that fell out a few times. No flooring under fridge and fridge was not level and kept wobbling. The pub machinery, exhausts, coolers etc to continue to emit noise until very late in evening/early hours of morning.

Great location great as Lorne is always Negative: Supply coffee but no milk

All rules and regulations and no hospitality Positive: Location Negative: A concept whereby they completely replace hospitality with rules and regulations. This is a very basic motel charging very high prices and provide absolutely no service . Just constant reminders about thier rules and regulations and just in case you don’t they remind you again about the bond they are holding and will not release until they are happy that the regulations have been complied with. This is a very average MOTEL opperating as an industrial Airbnb.

A great beach town escape apartment Positive: Lovely big room with nice outlook. Good location to enjoy Lorne and walk to Ipsos ( a fabulous Greek restaurant) Negative: Too many messages prior to arriving at apartment. Maybe much of the information could be available in room when guests arrive.

Location, comfort & convenience in lovely Lorne! Positive: Incredible central location! Right next to the wonderful Lorne Hotel and main Street. Comfortable bed, spacious room with all the essentials, smart tv & lovely view. Large bathroom and spa/shower combo would be perfect for guests with kids. Would love to stay again next visit to Lorne! Negative: The access to the room is via outdoor staircase - not an issue for us, but something to note for those who don’t move around as easily or have a lot of luggage to cart.
